Woohoo, the internet is up in my apartment now! Obviously, in case you hadn't figured it out, I've arrived safely in Durham and am just about all moved into my apartment.

In other news, I have developed sun sensitivity - sun exposure makes me break out in an angry red bumpy rash. Hehe, my night owl tendencies have been vindicated. *shuns sun* XD

So I got to go to AX in California - so very awesome! - and see Lisa (miss you!) and cosplay and buy anime goodies and basically have lots of fun. As an unforeseen side effect that I know Annie appreciates, it's gotten me into a very fan-nish mood and I'm finally uploading my FFVII:AC Cloud video.

Quick update to let everyone know that I arrived home safely. Been busy with the unpacking, and the AMCAS, and trying to solidify a new job. I go for training this weekend so wish me luck! (much preparation to do and packing -_-)

Yeah, ok, back to work.

Gasp in amazement--I'm actually posting! Why? Well, AIM isn't working. Hasn't been working since the night before last actually. And for once, I actually wanted to get on AIM and chat. And the fact that I can't, just makes me want to talk with friends even more. Right. So this frustration has manifested itself in hitherto unheard of amounts of lj activity and the making of FFVII icons. Um. Yeah.

And in other news, I've been meeting future in-laws. Weird.

Oh! Oh! Oh! I also get to tour the medical examiner's office (i.e. the morgue ^_^) in January, and I'm going to give him my resume to apply for a summer job. *excited* It's bad when even your father who is a physician calls you morbid, isn't it?

Okay, so I finally learned my lesson about not dropping off the face of the earth during vacation breaks. XD Just letting people know that I've arrived home safe and sound and exhausted.

Oh, and btw, my dad is threatening to disconnect the internet. >.< So if this is the only time I update and/or communicate with any of you, that's why.

I've noticed a peculiar tendency of mine: to update this lj when I'm stressing about orgo but to pretty much ignore it otherwise O_o Strange that.
